A longtime board member for groups like Gleaning for the World and Helping Children Worldwide, Rick combines business strategy with deep nonprofit insight to lead DCH’s mission of transforming crisis response.
John Malone has achieved high levels of success in a wide range of organizations from a Fortune 100 company, to a mid-cap and the founding of a brand new startup. Mr. Malone has spent five years as an independent director of a NYSE company, a combined ten years as the Executive Chairman of three VC backed SW companies, 8 years as the Chairman of a CEO peer group providing executive coaching and mentorship to 16 CEOs, 5 years as a founder and CEO, and 20+ years accountable for revenue generation as the President or SVP of Sales and Marketing.
John’s primary functional skill sets include everything to do with leadership and revenue generation inclusive of sales, marketing, business development, and strategic planning. In addition he has lead fund raising from professional investors, M&A both as an acquirer and as a seller, and has significant experience in pipeline due diligence and M&A integration.
